Privacy

Welcome

The privacy of your data is important to me.

This is a personal website — I never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Below is what I collect and why. I do this to learn how people use the site, to help catch what may be broken, and to get a sense of what can be improved.

Analytics

Every visitor is counted by Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that records aggregate page views, referrers, and device types. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected. If you are outside the EU, UK, and Switzerland, PostHog may also run to provide additional analytics. PostHog sets cookies and records browsing sessions with all form inputs masked. Ordinary page text may appear in a replay. It does not run for visitors in the EU, UK, or Switzerland.

Contact form

The contact form stores your name, email, and message in a Neon (Postgres) database so I can reply. Resend is used for an owner notification and, at most twice per address per UTC day, a separate visitor confirmation. Email delivery can fail after the form is accepted.

Third-party services

This site relies on: Netlify (hosting and edge compute), Neon (database), Resend (transactional email), Umami (analytics), and PostHog (analytics, non‑EU/UK/CH only).
