What matters most to me is enabling others to do more.

When I was ten, I built a video game for my grandmother as a gift.

I’ll never forget how excited she was to learn about my newfound passion. That key memory would become the foundation for why I adore making.

My first job was working at a makerspace.

I designed and taught classes for my community, constantly finding myself in awe of the curious and resourceful students I had the opportunity to support.

In college, I built teams of people and plenty of software.

I studied engineering at Iowa State, working in public radio and completing four software engineering internships before joining a startup full-time.

From these early experiences, I realized something important.

I love bringing out the best in people.

The most fulfilling parts of my life have been spent investing in others.
